What HIGHLIGHT COVERS to CREATE?
When someone visits your profile, they should get a clear sense of who you are and what you offer. Highlight covers serve as a visual navigation tool, allowing you to categorize and showcase your best content directly beneath your bio.
This not only helps visitors quickly understand what your brand/business is about but also encourages them to explore further.
I recommend you to add these highlights:
Start here (post a series of stories about who you are and what you do, see it as a roadmap for your audience. Include some personal info to connect with your audience. The more authentic, the better)
The core content pillars (Create a couple of highlights where you collect the most important stories that covers your main topics)
FAQs (Utilise the question sticker and answer them all and save as a FAQs highlight)
Testimonials/Client results (stories with testimonials from customers and clients is a great way to continually reinforce your expertise and build trust)
Behind the scenes (The little details, your work process, what people can expect when we order from you etc)

How to CREATE highlight COVERS & UPLOAD them to your INSTAGRAM
1) Design the covers in professional & cohesive style. I recommend using my highlight covers that I shared above and edit them in Canva - change the text for yours and adjust the color if needed.
But you can also design the covers from scratch. There are several tools you can use such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva. Choose a tool that you're comfortable with and start creating your covers. Keep in mind the circular shape of the covers and ensure that your designs are clear and easy to understand, even when viewed at a small size.
2) Export the covers Once you're happy with your designs, export them as individual image files. It's recommended to save them in a high-resolution format to ensure they look crisp and clear when uploaded to Instagram. Save them to your camera roll or any other place that you can easily access from your phone.
3) Upload your covers to Instagram
Now it's time to upload your custom highlight covers to Instagram.
Open the Instagram app and navigate to your profile. Tap on the '+ New' button next to your profile name, then select 'Story Highlight.'
Choose the stories you want to add to your highlights, then tap 'Next.' Here, you'll have the option to edit the cover image for each highlight.
Tap on 'Edit Cover' and select the custom cover image you created earlier.
Once you're satisfied with the cover image, tap 'Done' and then 'Add.'
4) Organize your highlights
After uploading your covers, organize them into categories that align with your brand and content themes. You can do this by selecting 'Edit Highlight' from your profile, then rearranging the order of your highlights and adding relevant titles and descriptions.
5) Maintain consistency
